TROPICAL CYCLONE SUMMARY: (1) AT 05MAY26 1800Z, TROPICAL DEPRESSION 05W (FIVE) WAS LOCATED NEAR 8.4N 148.3E, APPROXIMATELY 88 NM NORTH-NORTHWEST OF PULUWAT, AND HAD TRACKED WESTWARD AT 07 KNOTS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS WERE ESTIMATED AT 30 KNOTS GUSTING TO 40 KNOTS. SEE REF A (WTPN31 PGTW 052100) FOR FURTHER DETAILS. (2) NO OTHER TROPICAL CYCLONES. B. Moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in #OrientalMindoro(PuertoGalera, SanTeodoro, Baco, CityOfCalapan, Naujan, Pola, Pinamalayan, Victoria, Socorro, Gloria), #Romblon(Concepcion) and #Marinduque which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.
