TROPICAL CYCLONE SUMMARY: (1) AT 05MAY26 1800Z, TROPICAL DEPRESSION 05W (FIVE) WAS LOCATED NEAR 8.4N 148.3E, APPROXIMATELY 88 NM NORTH-NORTHWEST OF PULUWAT, AND HAD TRACKED WESTWARD AT 07 KNOTS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS. Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over #Palawan(Cagayancillo) within the next 30 minutes to an hour.

The above conditions are being experienced in #Palawan(Balabac) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates.
