TROPICAL CYCLONE SUMMARY: (1) AT 05MAY26 1800Z, TROPICAL DEPRESSION 05W (FIVE) WAS LOCATED NEAR 8.4N 148.3E, APPROXIMATELY 88 NM NORTH-NORTHWEST OF PULUWAT, AND HAD TRACKED WESTWARD AT 07 KNOTS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS WERE ESTIMATED AT 30 KNOTS GUSTING TO 40 KNOTS. SEE REF A (WTPN31 PGTW 052100) FOR FURTHER DETAILS. (2) NO OTHER TROPICAL CYCLONES. B.
