The above conditions are being experienced in #NegrosOccidental(CadizCity, SanCarlosCity and SalvadorBenedicto) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 PM today, the center of Typhoon "FRANCISCO" {MEKKHALA} was estimated based on all available data at 1,070 km East of Central Luzon (16.1°N, 131.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 150 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 25 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Mindanao, the western section of Visayas, and Palawan.
The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.
